As per the latest reports, Google Nest Hub(previously known as Google Home Hub) might get launched in India, next week. Google is all set to launch the smart display system, powered by Google Assistant, for a price of INR 8,999.
Competing with the likes of the Amazon Echo Show 5, the Google Nest Hub is sure going to give a tough fight. The device offers voice assistant access via a touchscreen panel.
The Google Nest Hub is reportedly cheaper in India as compared to its prices in the USA, where it is priced at $129, which roughly comes to INR 9,200. The smart display device was initially launched as Home Hub in 2018, but Google decided to bring it under the Nest brand and rebranded it as Nest Hub. Incidentally, Google has already launched a new variant called the Nest Hub Max, back in USA.
When compared to the Echo Show 5, the Nest Hub has a 7-inch display, as compared to the 5.5-inch display on the Echo Show 5. In addition, the Echo Show 5 has a 1MP camera and a 1.65-inch speaker. The Echo Show 5 has an integration with Alexa, whereas the Nest Hub has an integration with Google Assistant for smart features and voice assistance.
