Blaupunkt, a name that resonates with sound and car audios has diversified and launched a new range of TVs and headphones previously. This time around, the company has expanded by launching a range of soundbars in the country. The two new soundbars, SBW-100 and SBW-02 have been launched and are priced at INR 12,990 and INR 17,990, respectively.
Both the soundbars launched are 2.1 channel audio systems which have separate wired woofers together with the main wide two channel speaker. The SBW-100, the more affordable of the two, has a 120W output with a primary two-channel speaker, two 2.25-inch drivers and also a subwoofer with a 6.5-inch driver. The woofer has a side-firing whereas the speaker has a front firing. For connectivity options, the soundbar supports optical audio, USB, Bluetooth, auxiliary and also has a dedicated remote control.
The other one, SBW-02 is the more expensive variant and costs INR 17,990. Its has a low output of 100W as compared to the SBW-100, but has a Dolby Digital HD sound tuning that promises a better audio quality. It also supports HDMI with ARC (Audio Return Channel), which allows audio transmission over HDMI and also retains the visuals on TV. The connectivity options are the same as that of SBW-100.
