Huawei Launches its Nova 4e Smartphone

Huawei has finally launched the Nova 4e smartphone, but only in China and Malaysia, as of now. The smartphone makes it to the mid-range lineup of the Chinese manufacturer and hosts a great deal of features. Some of the features packed in the Nova 4e are:

  • Rear Fingerprint sensor
  • Triple camera setup at the rear
  • 6.15-inch screen
  • Double-curved glass body
  • A 32MP selfie camera

The new smartphone has been launched at a price of CNY 1,999 (approx. INR 21,000) for the 4GB/128GB version. The 6GB/128GB variant costs CNY 2,299 ( approx. INR 24,000). The Nova 4e is available in Garland Blue, Pearl White and Magic Night Black color options. Huawei has launched the smartphone in Malaysia too, and the same is priced at MYR 1,199 ( approx. INR 21,000) for the 6GB/128GB variant.

The new Nova 4e is a dual-Nano SIM smartphone that supports a 6.15-inch full HD+ (1080×2312 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 415ppi. It runs on EMUI 9.0.1 which is based on Android 9 Pie. Powering the new smartphone is an octa-core HiSiliconKirin 710 processor which has either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The same can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of a microSD card.

As for the camera, the Nova 4e has a triple camera setup at the rear with a 24MP primary sensor having an f/1.8 wide-angle lens, a 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera with an f/2.0 lens.

All this is powered by a 3,340 mAH battery with Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 4G VoLTE as connectivity options.
