Smartwatches are the flavor of the season and Huawei India has teased all with another great watch. Coined the Watch GT – the smartwatch boasts about its great battery life and how it keeps going all day.
Huawei claims that the soon to be launched Watch GT has a battery life of 14 days and hosts a lot of features, which include real-time heart rate monitoring. The smartwatch is water-resistant and was officially launched with the Mate 20 series in 2018.
The Chinese smartphone maker has shared the teasers on its social media platform with a “Coming Soon” tag attached, followed by a tweet engaging consumers on the battery life of a gadget. All these indicate that the company is gearing up for a launch in India in the next few days.
Specs: Huawei Watch GT
As per the launch specs, last year, the Watch GT has a round dial with a thickness of 10,6mm. In terms of display it hosts a 1.39-inch 454×454 pixel OLED precise touch screen display with a pixel density of 326ppi. Depending on the usage and the features switched on, the battery life of the smartwatch varies. Huawei claims that the battery life of its latest smartwatch lasts up to 30 days when the heart rate monitoring feature is off. If all the features, such as GPS, heart rate monitoring and exercise monitoring are used for a continuous period of time, then the battery lasts for 22 hours.
