The much awaited smartphone, the Realme 3, has been finally launched in the country with upgrades. Some of the upgrades include:
- A better front camera and design as compared to the Realme 2
- Presence of a 3D gradient unibody design
- Dual-Camera setup at the rear
- Rear Fingerprint sensor
- Waterdrop-style notch
- MediaTek Helio P70 SoC
- A 4,230mAH battery
- Android 9 Pie based Color OS 6
Available in two RAM and storage options, the latest smartphone will be sold online via Flipkart and the company’s website in India. At the event, the company even stated that the new Realme 3 pro would be launched in April.
Price and Offers: Realme 3
The Chinese smartphone maker has priced its latest offering very aggressively and is available at INR 8,999 for the 3GB/32GB storage variant, whereas the 4GB/64GB variant costs INR 10,999. Both the variants will have Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue and Black as the color options.
In terms of sales, the first one commences on the 12th of March, when both the variants will be available, but only in the Dynamic Black and Black color options. The pricing of the 3GB variant is an introductory offer and will the same for the first 1million buyers. The third color option, Radiant Blue will be available from the 26th of March and will be available via offline stores, too.

The latest smartphone hosts a dual-SIM (both Nano) and has the Android-Pie based Color OS 6.0. The phone also has a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 88.3% screen-to-body ratio and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Powering the smartphone is a 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC processor that has 3GB or 4GB RAM options. The Realme 3 hosts a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 13MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. Some of the camera features include a Nightscape mode, Portrait Mode, PDAF, Hybrid HDR, scene recognition, Chroma Boost, etc.
For the selfie lovers, the phone has a 13MP front sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 1.12-micron pixels with features like HDR, AI Beautification and AI Face Unlock.
Coming to the storage options, the smartphone is available in 32GB and 64GB options with an option to expand it up to 256GB with the help of a microSD. Powering the entire show is a 4,230mAH battery with support for an optimization mode, coupled with a 10W charger. The smartphone also has tons of sensors which include an accelerometer, digital compass, proximity sensor, fingerprint sensor and an ambient light sensor.
