The much anticipated smartphone by Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 7 has finally made its way to India. Even though the Note 7 had launched in China, a month back, Xiaomi has brought it to the Indian shores, after making some changes. The new smartphone is being touted as a game changer. Together with the Note 7, the Chinese giant has also unveiled the new Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is an global launch of the same. The new Note 7 Pro has certain upgrades over its predecessor and includes a powerful processor, increased storage space and has better cameras.

Xiaomi is know for its competitive pricing and this time was no different. The company has priced the Redmi Note 7 at INR 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB storage variant, whereas the 4GB/64GB variant carries a price tag of INR 11,999. The Note 7 is available in three color options, namely – Onyx Black, Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue.
The smartphone will be available for orders via Mi.com and Flipkart. If you want to go and purchase the new phone, personally, it will available via Mi Home stores, too. The smartphones is being launched will a few offers too so as to lure users and increase sales. It will be bundled with an ultra-slim case, while users can purchase a perforated case for INR 349 extra. Even Airtel has some offers rolled up its sleeves, where it is offering up to 1,120 GB, unlimited calling and Airtel Thanks benefits for users.

The latest smartphone hosts a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also features Gorilla Glass 5 and a waterdrop-style notch. Powering the Note 7 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC and includes 3GB/4GB of RAM, as per the variant. The phone has 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Charging the Note 7 is a huge 4,000mAH battery with a support for Quick Charge 4.0. The smartphone also has a rear fingerprint sensor, gets USB Type-C port, dual-SIM hybrid support and a 3.5mm audio jack. As connectivity options are concerned, it comes with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and Infrared support. The Redmi Note 7 runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10.
For camera lovers, the Note 7 features a dual camera setup on the rear that hosts a 12MP primary sensor with 1.25-micron pixels and a 2MP secondary depth sensor. For selfie lovers, the front camera is a 13MP one, similar to that of a China variant. As per Xiaomi, the camera app makes use of AI to offer advanced portrait mode, beauty features and a scene recognition support.
