In the wake of the pandemic Covid-19, manufacturers are not that keen to launch new gadgets or smartphones, in the market. Defying the odds, Oppo has quietly introduced the A92s smartphone in China. The latest handset has a square-shaped quad rear camera module setup, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor (which is also the power button), supports 5G networks and a dual hole-punch display. The new smartphone is up for pre-orders in China and its first sale will start on 29th April, 2020.

Oppo’s latest offering, the A92s is priced at approx. ₹23,700 for the 6GB/128GB variant and ₹27,000 for the 8GB/128GB version. Available in two color options, namely Black and White, the smartphone can now be pre-booked.

The Oppo A92s smartphone features a 6.57-inch IPS LCD Dual Punch-Hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6885Z, octa-core SoC, houses a square-shaped quad rear camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and two 2MP sensors, completing the camera setup. For selfies, there is a dual selfie camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor.
The new handset consists of upto 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage capacity, whereas the connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and 5G networks. The latest smartphone packs in a 4,000mAh battery, that gets 18W fast charging support.
