Samsung has made the much-awaited Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone official, days before the CES 2020.
Samsung has taken the wraps off a lower priced Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone , that fits within the budget. With a triple rear camera setup, that includes a 48MP primary sensor, it gets support of the Super Steady OIS stabilisation technology.

CES 2020 starts on the 7th of Jan, and that is when we expect an official announcement of the price for the new handset. Available in two configurations, namely the 6GB/128GB and the 8GB/128GB variants, the smartphone will come in three color options – Prism White, Black and Blue.

The diluted version of Galaxy S10, the S10 Lite, features a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display, gets a central hole-punch, in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock and rounded corners. At the rear there are three cameras, but in a square module. Powering the new smartphone is a 64-bit 7nm octa-core processor, which is touted to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. More details on the processor will be shared at the time to launch.
At the rear, there is a triple camera setup, that includes a 48MP primary sensor with a f/2.0 lens and Super Steady OIS support for stabilisation. This is required to cut off shaky and blurry videos. In addition, there is a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera with a f/2.2 aperture and 123degree FOV, and a 5MP macro camera with a f/2.4 lens.
For selfies, there is a 32MP camera with a f/2.2 lens and the smartphone carries a 4,500mAh battery, that supports Super Fast Charging.
